How old do I need to be to take the course?
You must be 18+ years old.
Do I need any prior firearm experience?
No experience is necessary. Our course is designed for beginners and those looking to refresh their knowledge. We walk you through everything you need to know.
What is the LTC (License to Carry) course?
The LTC course is a state-approved firearms safety course required to apply for your License to Carry in Massachusetts. It covers gun safety, handling, storage laws, and live-fire practice (if applicable).
Who teaches the classes?
All classes are taught by me, Bob, a certified instructor with real-world law enforcement experience. I emphasizes safety, real-life scenarios, and a comfortable learning environment for all experience levels.
How long is the class?
The standard LTC class is typically around 4–6 hours, depending on group size and participation.
What do I need to bring to class?
A valid photo ID and a willingness to learn. If live-fire is part of your session, we’ll let you know ahead of time what to bring, or we’ll provide everything you need.
Is this course accepted by my local police department?
Yes. Our course meets the state requirements for Massachusetts and is accepted by all cities and towns across the Commonwealth.
How much does the class cost?

Can I host a class at my home?
Absolutely. We offer private and group sessions at your home or preferred location, as long as it meets our safety requirements.
What happens after I complete the class?
You’ll receive a certificate of completion. You can then apply for your LTC through your local police department. We'll guide you through that process, step-by-step.
